Our charming cottage style building is home to our infant care ranging from 6 weeks to 2 years of age. This Hutto historic building was built in 1904. It is a perfect homey atmosphere giving the feel of a home verses a sterile large center building.
I worked with Jibri for a few years prior to opening Hippo Learning Station. When I found out she was not at the same child care, I quickly worked to gain her as one of our talented staff members. I learned a lot from her and just loved her teaching abilities and relationships with families. She has a lot to admire and give others as a child care professional. She was our teacher trainer for a few years and has now stepped it up to be our Assistant Director. She shares the same vision as I do in regard to offering a safe, fun, and engaging environment. She is a mother herself and values being part of making a place where she is comfortable to have her own son join us. Joyce
We found Hippo Learning Station after having our infant daughter at another daycare in town that we were unsatisfied with. Hippo Learning Station is EXACTLY what I hoped a daycare would be! All the staff are loving and attentive, the app to communicate with parents throughout the day is PERFECT for us, and any emails or phone calls are answered right away. Mrs. Joyce and the staff at Hippo Learning Station love my daughter as if she were their own and take an interest in not only her, but also us (her parents and siblings). She has learned to walk, socialize, and babble more and more since being here. LOVE IT!!!
Our teachers love what they do. We enjoy low staff turn-over and low teacher to child ratios (lower than state licensing)
Calm and fun decor throughout our infant building. We have a nightly cleaning company for clean surfaces.
Check out the green! We have artificial turf on all of our playgrounds for soft landings, cleanliness, safety, and fun. No messy rocks or loose pieces! We love our playgrounds!
